Apartment scene in Columbus is nation’s hottest!

This probably comes as no surprise to you, but Columbus is on the upswing, no doubt. And based on these new numbers, people are flocking to the capital city.

According to a report by apartment-finder website Zillow, Seattle, Denver and San José rank behind Columbus when it comes to their apartment scenes.

That’s right, Columbus has the nation’s hottest apartments, with 6,800 apartments being added to the market in the past three years alone, and they’re being filled like nobody’s business.

The Columbus Dispatch reports that 77 percent of new apartments were filled within three months of construction being completed, meaning that lots of buyers are eager to move in.

One downside is that rents have also been steadily on the rise due to the nonstop demand, but such is the price of greatness.
