The Limited Loses Their CEO…Again
We last reported on The Limited and the horrible holiday troubles they’re facing as a company and now it looks like the worse has yet to come. Previously owned by L Brands, The Limited is set to lay off more than 240 of their employees as their stores and corporate offices ready to sell or close.
It was reported this morning, that John Buell, the interim CEO of The Limited that replaced the last CEO, Diane Ellis two months ago has been nixed from the store. He will be moving o Knoxville and joining Altar’d State according to The Dispatch.
Who said the captain always goes down with the ship?
Limited was first opening in Upper Arlington in 1963 and by 1990 had nearly 800 stores across the country. In 2007, Florida-based Sun Capital Partner purchases the retail chain ahead of their 50th anniversary in 2013.
The Limited is currently running an absurd 80% off sale on select items on their website. It’s not being called a liquidation sale, but…when a goose is a goose, you call it a goose.
