Braxton Miller has NFL potential despite position change
After being forced to sit out for an entire season following a shoulder injury in August 2014, Braxton Miller made a surprising return to the Buckeyes in 2015 not as a quarterback, but as something else entirely.
Miller’s new hybrid running back-receiver position added a level of depth and versatility to the Buckeyes’ offense, allowing him to showcase his velcro hands and track star speed without causing undue stress to his throwing arm.
While some have said that Miller’s NFL prospects were marred by his senior year, others are calling his change of position a smart move that showed Miller’s flexibility and athleticism.
Columbus natives have seen Miller grow immensely since his freshman year. It’s not unreasonable to say that this transition could be only the beginning of a star career for the former Buckeye.
