That’s dedication: Cbus soccer fans name their son ‘Crew’

Brian Rosenberg was a fan of the Columbus Crew since the team’s beginnings, but he recently brought his dedication to a whole new level.

He and his wife Kara named their son Crew.

“I was like, ‘Crew? That’s not a name,'” Kara Rosenberg said. “But then the more I thought about it, the more I liked the name, and it definitely grew on me.”

The Rosenbergs say they love the name now, and that it fits their son perfectly.

Though he’s only one, the Rosenbergs hope to have him playing soccer soon.

“As soon as he looks a little less wobbly I’ll put the ball under his feet, I think,” Brian Rosenberg said.
