The Bucks stop here: 4 basketball players transfer

The Basketball Bucks’ 2015 recruiting class started off with five strong players, and now that four of them have chosen to transfer to other schools, that number has dwindled to a measly one.

Three of the players’ announcements come after the Buckeyes’ season-ending loss to Florida in the NIT.

Mickey Mitchell and A.J. Harris were granted their releases from the program yesterday, coming only a day after Daniel Giddens requested his. Austin Grandstaff left the program mid-December.

The Buckeyes are retaining their top six scorers heading into next season, but it looks like the open slots will give some fresh talent the opportunity to play for the Scarlet and Gray.
