“Super Size Me” Guy is Opening a Fast Food Joint in Westerville

Morgan Spurlock, “Academy nominated documentarian” and “Guy who ate McDonalds for thirty days” has decided to open his own fast food restaurant here in central Ohio. Where? Westerville.

The concept is a chicken place (because we need more chicken places…) called Holy Chicken! and its doors will kick open on November 19th according to Bizjournals.

As far as why Ohio? Especially when he comes from New York and West Virginia? It boils down to our “test market” status that has been rightfully doled out to us — because if your fast food concept should live or die it should be by the hands of Ohioans.

Oddly, no details on where in Westerville this location will be, which is a disconcerting considering it’s next week.

Their schicht is all their chicken is hormone-free, antibiotic-free, cage-free, free-range, farm-raised, humanely-raised, 100-percent natural chicken.

Their signature item is a…Grilled Crispy Chicken Sandwich!

But most hilariously, the kid’s menu item is called Lil’ Cluckers Chicken Tenders.

Because if you’re going to get the best chicken money can buy, might as well throw it into a vat of boiling fryer grease.
