The Flaming Lips added to PromoWest Fest, daily lineups announced

After dance-pop heartthrobs Walk The Moon dropped out of PromoWest Fest, the festival was missing a headliner. But the folks at PromoWest found a way to fit an even bigger pair of shoes into their already jam-packed lineup.

It was announced this morning that psych-rock legends The Flaming Lips have been added to the lineup.

Known for their outrageous live shows featuring confetti cannons, free laser pointers, backup dancer plucked from the crowd, and a giant inflatable hamster ball made for crowd surfing, The Flaming Lips create a live experience that’s nothing less than captivating.

That said, tickets will probably start going fast now that the full lineup has been announced and day passes are available.
