Columbus’ own North High Brewing Co. took home a major honor at this year’s World Beer Cup: second place in the pale ale category.
The eponymous North High Pale Ale beat 165 other beers for the silver medal, second only to Arch Rock Brewing Co. of Oregon for its Pistol River pale ale.
In other Columbus beer news, Wolf’s Ridge Brewing Co. snagged three medals at the San Diego International Beer Competition, gold for its Buchenrauch Rauchbier, silver for its Clear Sky Cream Ale and silver for its Sustinator Dopplebock.
At the same event, Seventh Son Brewing Co. won silver for its Wild Hunt Barleywine.
