A love story better than Twilight, Joe LaRue asked himself to his homecoming dance and said ‘yes.’ Whoever said romance is dead is clearly wrong, because this kid sure knows how to treat himself.

If anyone remembers, high school is pretty much an onslaught of nightmares and drudgery, so asking someone out as a teenager is, like, a big deal, OK?

Taking yourself to homecoming saves the work of having to ask someone else, and gives you a reason to be extra nice to yourself for a whole night. You go, Joe LaRue.
