Hot Chicken Takeover 2016 Neighborhood Tour

Hot Chicken Takeover 2016 Neighborhood Tour

Get ready and get hungry: Hot Chicken Takeover is touring our city. This fair-chance employer has officially announced their locations and dates for Columbus’ tastiest tour, and it starts September first in Tommy’s Diner in Franklinton. Land Grant is partnering on this stop, and will also host the after-party. Tickets come with family-style chicken (up to two heat levels), Ma’s mac and slaw, bread and Ma’s sweet tea.

The chicken fast-casual eatery will be contributing funds from the tour to several different community organizations, the first being Gladden House, which will receive 10% of money raised from the first tour stop.

HCT will also be selling a new t-shirt at Tommy’s Diner, which will be exclusive to the 2016 tour and not available online.

Upcoming stops on their tour include:

9/1 – Franklinton – supporting Gladden House

9/9 – Bexley – supporting the Bexley Community Foundation

9/20 – Clintonville – supporting the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resource Center

9/24 – Grandview – supporting Goodwill Columbus

9/30 – Dublin – supporting Dublin Food Pantry

10/5 – Merion Village – Gluten-Free fried chicken event with Bake Me Happy supporting Flying Horse Farm‘s Rheumatology and GI Camp

10/13Worthington – supporting the Old Worthington Organization

10/22 – Gahanna – supporting the Gahanna Parks and Recreation

As they get closer to each event, HCT will release more details. Each stop will be a unique community and dining experience.

Tickets range from $40-160 and come with family-style chicken (up to two heat levels), Ma’s mac and slaw, bread and Ma’s sweet tea. Land-Grant beer will be sold separately.
