Clinton & Trump Tied in Ohio

Presidential nominees Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are tied at 45% in Ohio, according to a Suffolk University Poll taken just before the third debate.

“The events over the past month have resulted in a dramatic shift among those Ohioans who self-identified as independents,” said David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk University Research Center in Boston.

According to Paleologos, independents are the ones choosing the outcome of this year’s election, and everything depends on their decision to tip towards Clinton or Trump.

Libertarian nominee, Gary Johnson is not even close to winning Ohio as he sits at just 4 percent, while Green Party nominee Jill Stein trails even further behind at 1 percent.

According to same poll, the outcome of the election changes when people are asked who they think will win, regardless of their personal preference. With this poll question, Clinton leads 57 percent to Trump’s 26 percent.
