Fall Colors Peak THIS Weekend

Fall Colors Peak THIS Weekend

Ok, so fall colors aren’t totally peaking everywhere, but most are or are near peaking, and since Midwesterners like us can’t get enough of fall, this weekend will be our best chance to soak up all that fall love.

According to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Forester, Casey Burdick, the maple trees in our beautiful state are showing off their colors best, while the hickory and the yellow poplar follow closely behind with their yellow hues.

Even if your backyard isn’t showing any signs of change, Burdick says no worries, they’ll catch up just as soon as they start feeling temperatures drop more and more.
