The conversation was meant as a way to open up discussion on issues and topics that affect Columbus residents today. Held at the Glenwood Community Recreation Center, this was the third meeting of this type held by CPD.
Chief of Police Kim Jacobs said to NBC4i that real change can only happen through open discussion and invited protesters to come and talk at the event. This is the third of five planned meetings that are open to the public, and people are welcome to ask about anything, according to NBC4i.
The next meeting will be held in the Barnett Community Center on Tuesday Oct. 25th.
