Kasich says he’ll win Ohio, but will drop out if he doesn’t

Ohio Governor John Kasich is confident he’ll win the March 15 primary in his home state, but he says he’ll “call it over” if he doesn’t.

Kasich had a respectable second-place showing in New Hampshire, though he’s currently sitting at 4th place in terms of delegates, with only Ben Carson behind him, and Donald Trump way out in the lead.

He even made a prediction Sunday on CNN that Donald Trump would sweep all 12 Super Tuesday states.

However, with both Florida Senator Marco Rubio and Texas Senator Ted Cruz proving ineffective foils to Donald Trump’s dominant performance, Kasich’s message of compromise and togetherness might shine through late in the race.

Kasich has touted polls that say he would be one of the best candidates to beat either Democratic contender if he were to win the nomination, but it looks like getting the nomination will be the hard part for the Ohio governor.
