New poll: Clinton, Trump neck-and-neck in Ohio

In an election where both major candidates’ rhetoric is matched only by their unfavorability ratings, a new Ohio poll shows that voters are evenly split when it comes to deciding the next president.

The Quinnipiac University poll shows both candidates sitting at 40% in Ohio–a crucial swing state notorious for deciding who will take the win in November.

Ohio’s new poll is especially interesting, given Governor John Kasich’s primary victory back in March, and the massive number of voters who switched parties in the primary election.

Both candidates’ unfavorability ratings are high–they’re evenly matched at 59 percent.

The poll indicated that voters think Clinton has higher moral standards than Trump, is better prepared to be president and is more intelligent, while Trump is more trustworthy than Clinton, more inspiring, and a stronger leader.

Voters rated Trump better on the economy, ISIS, and they would rather invite him to a backyard barbecue, but they thought Clinton would be better at responding to an international crisis, and they favored her immigration policies.

As for now, expect to see #NeverTrump and #NeverHillary trending more often than #TrumpTrain or #ImWithHer.
