Ohio politicians react to Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia’s death

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia passed away this weekend, which garnered some impassioned reactions from Ohio politicians and could have major implications for the nation.

Suspicious circumstances surround Scalia’s death, who was found dead on vacation in his bed at a Texas hotel with a pillow over his head. No autopsy was performed amidst conflicting reports of the cause of death.

Initially no cause of death was given, then it was reported he suffered a heart attack, and now the official cause of death is “natural causes,” according to Texas Judge Cinderela Guevara.

A longtime smoker of pipes and cigarettes, Scalia had his share of health problems, but was said to be perfectly healthy the night before.

Scalia was known as one of the most conservative voices on the U.S. Supreme Court, and his death will likely change the outcomes of several impending Supreme Court cases.

President Obama now has the chance to appoint a Supreme Court Justice, though pundits are questioning whether or not the Republican-controlled Congress will approve any Justice the president appoints to the Court.
