This morning Columbus Police conducted a series of raids on four houses in the Hilltop area connected to dogfighting.
Following an initial investigation spurred by the Capital Area Humane Society that found 15 dogs, a police raid this morning seized a whopping 45 dogs and resulted in the arrests of 11 people.
Though about 20 of the dogs were healthy, others were said to be in poor condition.
Police say guns, cash and drugs were also seized.
