Hilliard SWAT standoff ends without a shot
A SWAT standoff related to a custody dispute ended peacefully early this morning around 3:30 a.m.
According to police, a man refused to give his infant daughter back to his mother around 2 a.m. and refused to come out of his building, forcing police to stake out the Lake Road apartment complex.
Police said the man was watching his daughter while his ex-girlfriend was at work. When she returned, he refused to give her back.
After the suspect was arrested, he was charged with interference with custody.
