Though you might not think of New Albany as a haven for drug traffickers, a recent bust by Hilliard Police shows the pervasive reach of drugs into communities most would consider affluent.
A kilo of cocaine, plus heroin, LSD, marijuana and a firearm were seized in the “Villages at New Albany Park” apartment complex when Hilliard Police executed a search warrant.
Bin Li Dang, 27, was charged with drug trafficking, and there is an arrest warrant out for her boyfriend, Craig Montgomery, also on drug trafficking.
In addition to the drugs, $85,000 in cash was seized, 75 percent of which will be used to finance future drug investigations.
