SWAT standoff near elementary school causes delay, one arrested
A 12-hour SWAT team standoff that began as a domestic dispute ended with one arrested, and a 2-hour delay for Lancaster City Schools.
The arrest happened at 8:30 a.m. this morning, though police have not released any details.
The standoff happened on Deerfield Court, near Sanderson Elementary School, which will be closed for the day.
Around 7:30 a.m. this morning, a man waved a white flag out of a hole in the roof of the apartment, signaling his surrender.
