Bomb threat delays classes at Pickerington High
It’s been a rough couple of weeks for Pickerington High School Central students.
A bomb threat scrawled on a bathroom wall was discovered this morning at the school, delaying classes for an hour while a bomb squad searched the building.
Police and dogs scoured the building, and fortunately found nothing. Classes are now in session.
A student accused of making the threat was arrested this afternoon.
Last week a separate threat was discovered, for which a student was charged with inducing panic.
Earlier this week, students at PHSC were disciplined for a racially-charged video.

4/13/16: Pickerington High School on lockdown following racial incidents
Pickerington High School Central was placed on lockdown this morning around 10:45 a.m. according to the Pickerington Police Department.
They say a threat was made towards the high school this morning via a text message sent to a student.
Though no details have been issued, the lockdown comes only days after a racially-charged video was posted on snapchat, where a student was shown cocking a shotgun and asking another if he’s “ready to go n—-r hunting.”
When another student posted the video on Twitter, all three students were disciplined.
In a separate incident, graffiti on a bathroom wall threatened a school shooting, for which a student was charged with inducing panic.
Last Friday, police said they would be monitoring the high school “for the foreseeable future.”
