Former Ohio State Trooper & Teacher Charged with Rape

Former trooper, Adam Foster, an academy teacher for the Ohio State Highway Patrol has been charged with rape for a 2015 incident.
According to his lawyer, he will turn himself in today.
According to WTOL, Foster was serving the Swanton Post of the Ohio State Highway patrol when he allegedly raped a woman at at apartment complex in Springfield. He was her teacher while she was a recruit at the Highway Patrol Academy.
The rape came to light during an investigation this spring at the Highway Patrol Academy in Columbus.
Foster has been fired and charged with unlawful restraint. A date for his arraignment has not yet been set.
