Denver-based ultra-low cost airline Frontier Airlines began flying out of Port Columbus Wednesday morning to select destinations around the country.
Touting round-trip fares as low as about $98, Frontier’s initial price is significantly lower than the average price of a flight out of Columbus: $378.
However, if you want to check luggage, carry on luggage, choose your own seat, or eat a snack on the plane, it’ll cost you.
But if you’re lucky enough to find a cheap flight to the destination you want, the price might be worth the added suffering.
Destinations out of Columbus include Denver, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Austin, Phoenix, Philadelphia and Orlando.
