Hillard Student Allegedly Planned Mass Shooting, Conspiracy to Murder
The Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien has announced charges against a Hilliard Davidson High School student who was planning a shooting.
He will be charged with conspiracy to commit murder after Hilliard Police stopped the potential threat three weeks ago.
“This could have been a serious tragedy,” said O’Brien at the Press Conference on Tuesday.
According to the Franklin County Prosecutor, the male student, 16, was planning his shooting and had attempted to recruit other students to assist. There was a map made of the school, and he had detailed the weapons he was planning to use.
According to the CPD, The school resource officer was made aware of the threat and stopped it with the help of school staff. It was considered a ‘perceivable threat’ to the student body.
