Tuesday morning Columbus police recovered seven cars that were stolen within two days, according to Fox28.
The theft happened when people turned on their cars and then left them unattended and unlocked to warm them up before driving.
Apparently, a group of kids unfamiliar to the neighborhood from which they stole the cars, were found to be the culprits. All seven cars were also found near Beechcroft High School.
So listen up Columbus, don’t leave your cars unattended while you warm them up, or better yet, just get to driving — cars don’t really warm up any quicker while idling than they do when they’re driven.
