Traffic’s About to Get Really Shitty Really Fast

This week Interstate 270, US Route 23 and State Route 315 are undergoing some major traffic changes, so you better get ready because your route back home or to work might be a little hairier than usual.

Interstate 270 (North Side) – I-270 east will be reduced to three lanes between SR 315 and US 23 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. The following ramps will also be closed:

• 7 PM: SR 315 north to I-270 east
  The detour is SR 315 north to I-270 west to Sawmill Road to I-270 east
• 11 PM: I-270 east to US 23
  The detour is I-270 east to Cleveland Avenue to I-270 west to US 23

By 5 AM Wednesday, all ramps will reopen and the ramp from SR 315 north to I-270 east will be in its new configuration. Traffic coming from SR 315 will drive a mile on the ramp and under US 23 before merging onto I-270 east.

Additionally, there were some changes made to Monday, and Wednesday we’ll be seeing even more traffic changes to I-270.
