Breaking: Pedestrian hit in downtown Columbus car accident

A pedestrian was hit in an automobile accident at the intersection 3rd Street and Long Street in downtown Columbus, according to witness reports.

Immediately after the accident ambulances rushed to the scene where the man lay in the street, his shoes approximately 20 feet away from him.

The man appeared to be in critical condition.

Crowds gathered around the scene of the accident and attempted to assist in any way possible, according to witness reports.
