Real-time COTA bus tracking launches next week!

Several years of waiting and a few failed attempts later, COTA is finally giving bus riders an app to track busses in real-time.

If the new Transit App really does work according to plan, riders will be able to plan trips, find stops, see arrival times, and even watch busses move down their route in real-time on a map.

For you loyal COTA riders out there, you can download the app to your smartphones now, but the full version with GPS tracking won’t be released until May 6.

Hopefully this time the app will go off without a hitch, and Columbus will finally know exactly when to be at the bus stop.
