Remains found near Mansfield believed to be missing woman
Human remains found in a number of locations in northern Richland county are believed to be related to the disappearance of Patsy G. Hudson, 62. She was last seen in July and reported missing by her family on December 22.
Two of Hudson’s neighbors were arrested on unrelated outstanding warrants. No further charges have been filed yet, but their involvement with the case is currently being investigated.
Each crime scene is roughly 15 minutes apart: one on Franklin Church Road, the other on Snake Road, and a third location in a field off Ransom Road.
Hudson kept to herself, spending her time with her cats, who were reportedly disliked by her neighbors.
“The people beside her didn’t really enjoy those cats,” neighbor Tony Walker said. “I know they didn’t have a good relationship.”
Expect updates soon in this developing story.
