In the wake of a stabbing at OSU and a reality in which mass school shootings are common, Reynoldsburg teachers have decided to roll up their sleeves and invest in what is now necessary—mass casualty first responder training.
The teachers were taught how to treat gunshot and stab wounds, apply a tourniquet, and control bleeding.
Officers wanted to give this training in hopes of saving lives during a school emergency. According to 10tv, this type of training is usually only offered to law enforcement and first responders.
What do you think of this training, should it be required for teachers and instructors?
