School bus crash sends students to hospital

Over a dozen students were sent to the hospital following a freeway school bus crash on I-270 near Sawmill Road this morning around 9:45 a.m.

Reports say the bus was rear-ended, leaving 14 students with minor injuries.

Columbus Police say the students were taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital primarily as a precautionary measure.

No other information was immediately available, including the school district the bus belonged to.
