Wanna See How Police Body Cams Work?

The City of Columbus will officially announce the first phase of the police body worn camera initiative, including a demonstration of the body worn cameras deployed this week.

A who’s who of Columbus Politicians will be present at the roll out including: Mayor Andrew J. Ginther, City Council President Zach Klein, Public Safety Director Ned Pettus, Jr. PhD., Columbus Police Chief Kim Jacobs, Columbus Police Officer Rob Barrett, Additional elected officials, WatchGuard representatives, and Body Worn Camera Committee members.

 They’ll be gathering at the Columbus Police Training Academy at N. Hague Avenue to launch phase one of the police body worn camera initiative. There will be a brief demonstration followed by questions and answers on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 2 p.m.
