Woman dies after being hit by COTA bus near campus
A Columbus woman died Friday following an accident with a COTA bus near campus.
Jocelyn Gibson, 54, was running to catch the bus when she tripped and fell underneath, according to police.
She was taken to OSU Medical Center, where she died on 45 minutes after suffering her wounds.
Gibson was a member of the Ohio LGBT community and a member of advocacy group TransOhio. The organization will hold a moment of silence for her at its next meeting.
