Trump to Visit OSU Victims on Thursday

President-elect Donald Trump has made plans to travel and visit OSU to meet with the victims of the campus attack leaving 11 injured and the attacker dead.

According to the Associated Press, Trump will arrive Thursday but no further plans were discussed.

The events of the day were perpetrated by Abdul Razak Ali Artan, an allegedly frustrated Muslim-American born in Somalia and living in the U.S. as a legal resident. ISIS has since taken responsibility for his actions despite no evidence to show they had any contact, according to the FBI.

After Artan hit a curb and purposefully hit several students and faculty with his car, he exited his vehicle and began stabbing and slashing with a butcher knife.

Moments later, OSU Police Officer Alan Horujko arrived on the scene and  shooting and killing Artan.

Trump has gone on record against the immigration policies that allowed Artan’s family into the country.
