Bigfoot believers gathering in eastern Ohio

Is it one of the nation’s greatest unsolved mysteries or a straight-up hoax?

Whichever side you sit on, the fact remains that there is a dedicated community of researchers who want to find Bigfoot, America’s most beloved great ape.

Hundreds of enthusiasts will be gathering at Salt Fort State Park for this year’s Ohio Bigfoot Conference, a full weekend event filled with speakers, hikes and more.

Ohio is a hotspot for Bigfoot encounters, with 266 “incidents” reported to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Association.

Unfortunately, tickets to get into the conference are completely sold out, but you can still buy tickets to watch livestreams of the panels for $10.

Scientists maintain there’s no hard evidence of Bigfoot, though you have to admit that being a skeptic isn’t very fun.
