Columbus Says Goodbye to its Cutest Celebrity

Polar bears are intrinsically beautiful animals, and it’s a special sight to see one, even at the zoo. The heat will keep them from laying out in plain sight, but for the last four months, Columbusites have been charmed by the totally cute baby polar bear named Nora.

Either through video or the special chance to see her furry head pop out from her exhibit, Nora has stolen Columbus’s heart.

The zoos of the world had bigger plans for Nora, though, as her mother and aunt head to den and need peace and quiet, according to 10tv. 

Nora headed off to Oregon yesterday, and our hearts with her. Nora is an especially unique polar bear as she is only the sixth hand-reared polar bear to survive in North America.

Hopefully Oregon will post videos so we can still watch our little furry friend grow up!
