HOMAGE sees spike in sales after Cavs triumph

Following the Cleveland Cavaliers’ landmark victory over the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, Columbus-based clothing retailer HOMAGE is seeing sales go through the roof.

It helps that the company got the LeBron James boost–he was wearing an HOMAGE shirt when he walked off the plane on his return to Cleveland that read, “Ultimate Warriors.”

As for now, HOMAGE President Jason Block and his crew are doing all they can to keep up with the high demand for shirts commemorating the Cavs’ NBA Finals win.

One of the most popular simply reads “EARNED Cleveland Cavaliers” on a grey background.

Though the clothier already had about 20 Cleveland Cavaliers items in stock online and in their brick and mortar stores, they added three more after Game 6, when fans started to get pumped for the possibility of a Game 7 win.

HOMAGE said sales would have been boosted whether the Cavs had won or lost the championship, but the win is taking things to a whole new level.

Update: Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love has been spotted on Twitter rocking another HOMAGE tee, from which a portion of the proceeds benefit the Military Veterans Resource Center. How cool is that?
