Last night in Columbus was a blustery one as lightning storms rolled in to drop over an inch of rain and knock out power for over 1,000 Columbus residents.
Fortunately the storms weren’t as bad as last week’s strong winds that left over 5,000 people out of power.
According to AEP Ohio, most customers should have had power back by 7 a.m., though there have been reports of customers still without power as of 8 a.m.
The largest outage was in Bexley, where a power line was down and a fuse box was hit.
