Everyone is making it rain on new Metro Park

People are making serious money moves towards the development of Columbus’ 20th Metro Park.

According to The Dispatch, here’s who’s shelling out for making the QT—the limestone quarry in west Columbus that will be transformed into a 220-acre scenic exploration park surrounded by a multi-use development—possible:

  • Metro Parks is committing $7.5 million to purchase property at the Marble Cliff Quarry
  • The Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks board of commissioners approved $500,000 for environmental remediation
  • Wagenbrenner Development, which is developing the multi-use development, is donating another 40 acres along the riverfront

It’s all hands on deck to make this beautiful adventure come true.
