Should Grandview funeral home be demolished for condos?

A local development company wants to do away with a funeral home and an office building in Grandview to make room for new condos.

First Grandview Development Co. LLC filed a proposal to raze two, four-story buildings at 1574-1578 and 1562-1572 W. 1st Ave and use the site to build two condominium complexes for empty nesters in Grandview.

The proposal calls for 16 units and two parking garages.
