Can you feel the Rhythm of the River yet? Series starts tomorrow

The Rhythm by the River is starting, can you hear it? The free, summer concert and dance series at the Bicentenial Park Performing Arts Pavilion by the Scioto Mile is the perfect place to get a little funky. The season will kick off tomorrow night and will feature a group guaranteed to provide plenty of groove.

The Blind Boys of Alabama is a soul group whose original roots date back to the 1930s– in the days of whites-only restrooms. Well, they kicked that stigma right in the teeth as the plowed through Grammy awards, White House performances, and hall of fame inductions. Their soulful vibe will be swooning you riverside tomorrow evening.

Rhythm by the River will be grooving on select Fridays all summer. They’ve pulled great premier touring artists as well as local arts organizations. Click here to see who’s slated to rock the river.
