Mario sick of plumbing, submits new resume

Mario’s got a brand new bag and it’s full of more than just plungers and wrenches.

Nintendo isn’t limiting the popular video game character to skills necessary to fix a leaky faucet–nope–they say Mario can wear many hats.

“All around sporty, whether it’s tennis or baseball, soccer or car racing, he [Mario] does everything cool.”

Mario made his first appearance as a carpenter in “Donkey Kong” in 1981 and was given a plunger the following year.

No word on if Mario’s twin brother, Luigi, will be switching up jobs also. Someone has to fix Princess Peach’s toilet so maybe Luigi should stick with plumbing.
