How Do You Legally Run a Red Light?

How Do You Legally Run a Red Light?

You get your government to pass a law legalizing it. Ohioans will soon be able to legally run a red light if they believe the light is malfunctioning.

You know when you’re at a light and you’re waiting and waiting for it to turn green but it never does? In March, you’ll be able to go through the light without fear of being ticketed, according to 10tv.

Police told 10tv that the law doesn’t consider people who drive past the stop bar and trigger the lights to change – according to usual traffic laws, a driver must stop before the stop bar, or exercise caution when their isn’t one.

Police from the Reynoldsburg Motor Unit say the law could encourage more red light crashes.

What do you think of this new change? Sound off in the comments below!
