Kasich Will Hold State of State Speech Near Cedar Point
Gov. John Kasich will be holding his State of State speech in Sandusky, Ohio, near his beloved Great Lake and Cedar Point that hold childhood memories for the Ohio politician.
According to the Columbus Dispatch, it will be the sixth time in a row that Kasich has held speech outside of Columbus, with his other locations being Steubenville, Lima, Medina, Wilmington and Marietta.
The State of State speech typically covers an assessment of how Ohio is faring, and Kasich usually sends his cabinet members to host various events in the same area.
This year, Kasich told the Dispatch, the speech, “will be something I hope will be timely. It will be about where we were, where we are, and where we’re going.”
