Police trying to lasso “Cologne Cowboy”
John Ferris Clark, 53, is a convicted thief who is now wanted for stealing high-end men’s cologne. Ah, a classic case of having expensive taste but a Flat Stanley wallet.
Allegedly, the Cologne Cowboy nabbed $1,800 of smelly-good liquid including brands like Armani Black Code, Acqua Di Gio, and Invictius. He did this all within a two-day stretch last year in Whitehall and Reynoldsburg.
That seems pretty specific, right? That’s what he does best; niche-market shoplifting. He steals a lot of one item to then resell.
Clark is wanted on five different warrants. This is on top of a mountain of other convictions: 17 for theft, a B&E, a felony receiving stolen property, a felony drug possession, a felony violation of probation, a illegal possession of drug paraphernalia, and a criminal trespassing.
