Dublin superintendent makes statement on Facebook about teacher arrested for child pornography
The Dublin board of education plus members of the community met last night to discuss former Dublin teacher Gregory R. Lee and his arrest on federal child pornography charges. Dublin superintendent, Dr. Todd Hoadley, posted a statement to Facebook as sort of a recap of what was talked about at the meeting. He spoke a lot about safety precautions Dublin schools take to protect their students and how the the HR department promptly began an investigation of Lee once complaints came to light that led to them demanding he resign.
One of the comments on the video called his language, “corporate buzzwords.”
Dr. Hoadley did not mention Lee’s long history of sexually inappropriate behavior towards female students. The district says these behaviors were inappropriate but not criminal.
He closed with, “We will work to move toward move forward in an expeditious manner to continue putting our students first, and their safety as our first priority.”
Here is a link to Dublin’s safeguard form as well as their anti-harassment policy.
Lee is currently being held without bond on federal charges.
