Fatal, high speed crash closes roads near Grandview

Police continue to investigate a fatal car crash that happened near Grandview Heights early Wednesday morning.

It was a single-car wreck and happened at the intersection Dublin Road and West Fifth Avenue around 4:15 am reports NBC4i.

A witnesses spotted the car before the crash and estimated a speed of around 100 mph. Authorities believe the car hit the railroad tracks and flipped before going up in flames. Fire crews didn’t discover the driver until after the flames were put out, reports 10tv.

The victim has been identified as a female.
