Updated: Victim of house fire on southeast side identified

UPDATED: The victim of the fire has been identified as 54-year-old Michael W. Gwinn Sr.

Firefighters say there were no smoke detectors in the home.

BREAKING: A fire on the southeast side of Columbus claimed one mans life last night.

It started in the home of a 54-year-old man who has not been named. He died of smoke inhalation.

The fire happened in the 100 block of South Weyant Avenue and firefighters believe it was accidental.
