Girlfriend of deceased State Fair ride victim still in serious condition
The girlfriend of the teenager who died in the Ohio State Fair Fire Ball ride malfunction remains in serious condition.
Eighteen-year-old Keziah Lewis is an English and creative writing student at the University of Cincinnati. Lewis was also involved in a pop a cappella on campus called UC Vocaholics. In a post by the singing group from 2015, Lewis answered a series of questions about herself. When asked about any personal fun facts, Lewis said that she had a military boyfriend.
She was on the ride with her boyfriend Tyler Jarrell when horror ensued. Jarrell was killed in the accident. He had recently signed up to join the United State Marine Corps.
10tv reported updates on the other three victims who remain in the hospital:
- Jennifer Lambert, 18, is unresponsive at Grant Medical Center.
- Tamica Dunlap, 36, is at the Wexner Medical Center in serious condition.
- Her uncle, Russell Franks, is in critical condition.
- Eighteen-year-old Tyler Jarrell died in the accident. He was laid to rest Tuesday.
Two other victims have already been released.
