Hangout Horror: Friend Brings Criminals, Baby Held at Gunpoint

Wednesday morning on the 2800 block of East 10th Avenue, a couple was robbed at gun-point by a supposed friend and his two accomplices.

The couple told police that this “friend” of theirs came over to hang out but brought along two other people — after a short while they all pulled out guns and demanded money.

You know, classic “friend” move.

The situation allegedly escalated to a point where their 8-month-old baby had a gun held to its head, according to NBC4i. Of course, the couple obliged after their “friend” threatened the life of their baby, giving them cash and their car to flee in.

The CPD located the car in the North Linden area, after there was a brief chase where the car nearly hit a house. The driver fled on foot.

Police are looking for all three suspects now and they do not believe the other two suspects were in the car during the chase.
